Beauty Favorite of the Week

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush: Paaarty
Image result for tarte blush paaarty
This weeks beauty favorite is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in the color Paaarty. Tarte blushes are such high quality and super long lasting. They really last all day long. I've noticed that some other blushes can disappear throughout the day, which can be a pain.
This is such a pretty mauve-y pink. I love using this blush on a daily basis.

Milani Baked Blush Review

My Review of Milani's Baked Blush in Luminoso
I have had this blush for a while now, I purchased it at my local CVS store for $8.99 (direct link to product.)
If you want to check out the haul where I talked about this product it is here: Collective Makeup Haul: June

The color is a peachy pink with some gold shimmer. I really like this color for the summer. It gives the skin a dewy look without being frosted or glittery. I like that it is a baked blush because you don't need a lot to make it show up on your skin. This product doubles for a blush and a highlighter, which makes it perfect for travel.
This blush is comparable to the Nars Orgasm blush. It is almost the same peachy tone, I would say that Orgasm is a little darker than Luminoso. Both the blushes have the golden sheen to them as well, but again I think that Luminoso is a bit toned down compared to Orgasm. The Nars blush has more of a shine of gold and Luminoso has more of a light sheen of gold.
Both blushes are very good. But if you want a cheap dupe for the Nars $29 blush, go for Luminoso (which is less than $10!)
I recently took Luminoso with me on my beach vacation and it went great with my tanned skin. It looked very natural and pretty, it made my skin glow!

I would recommend this product to people with light to medium skin tones who want a peachy, dewy finish on the cheeks.

Collective Makeup Haul: June

I did a little bit of makeup shopping in the past couple of weeks, and I wanted to do a haul showing what I got. The things I bought are from CVS and from Urban Decay.

So I'll just start off  with the things from Urban Decay. I ordered these things from Hautelook.com so they were a lot cheaper than if I would have ordered them off of the Urban Decay site.
The first things are two cream blushes. The peach-color one is called Indecent and the brighter pink is called Fetish.

Also from Urban Decay I got an eye shadow palette. This one is called the Deluxe shadow box, it comes with nine really pretty colors. And it also came with a mini Eye Shadow Primer Potion-which I have owned before, and loved it. The colors starting from top left are: Fishnet (fuchsia), Honey (gold), Ransom (deep purple), Graffiti (green), Zero (black), Peace (blue), Shag (warm light brown), Scratch (cool pink-tone brown) , Underground (brown).

Next up are the things I got at CVS. I have been hearing about this blush from beauty gurus on Youtube foreverrrr, so I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Its the Milani Baked blush in the color Luminoso 05. So far I have liked it a lot.

I also wanted to try this BB cream from Garnier. I'm not that into the BB cream fad, I generally prefer foundation. But it was right there so I wanted to give it a try. I got the shade Light/Medium.

This I have tried before and I liked it. I haven't used this in a long time so I wanted to pick this up again. This mascara is from Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express in Blackest black.
This last product is also from Maybelline. It is the 24 Hour color Tattoo in the color 07 Barely Branded. I have used this product before and I wanted to have a backup, because its awesome!

Let me know of any new products you're trying out that you love or that you don't love. I love trying new things, and adding to my collection.

Monthly Favorites: June 2013

My favorite beauty products in June

June has come and gone, and it's time for my favorite and most used beauty products for June.
So I'm going to go right into it...

My favorite product for eyes has been a mascara. It is the L'Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes in the waterproof formula. I LOOOOVE this mascara, it is really easy to put on and it makes my lashes look natural, but still full and with more length.

My favorite blush for this month has been one from the 10 Blush Palette from Coastal Scents. It is the light pink shade on the top left of the palette. It is the perfect pinky shade for my skin tone right now. It is build-able if I would want a darker tone, and it can be dusted on very lightly if I want. It is definitely my favorite color from this palette.

Another cheek product I love has been a highlighter. This product is from Avon its called Glow Bronzing Pearls in the color B201 Sunkissed. It is the perfect amount of shimmer without any glitter or frost. Its subtle but when it catches the light it is beautiful.

My favorite lip product is the Vaseline Original Lip Therapy. This is amazing, it is moisturizing. It lasts a long time on my lips, it doesn't have a scent or a color. This is one of my favorite lip products ever.

Lastly, I want to talk about my favorite brush (or most used brush) for this past month. It is the Sigma Flat Kabuki F-80 brush. I use this brush for my foundation. And to be honest I have loved this brush since I purchased it last year. It blends liquid foundation amazingly. It makes applying my foundation very easy and quick, especially in the morning while I'm getting ready for work. I cant say enough good things about this brush. I love it. LOVE IT!

So those are my absolute favorite beauty products for the month of June.
