All About Shoes: Pinspiration Series

The next thing I was thinking about for my wardrobe upgrade is shoes. I have a very deep passion for shoes. I can shoe shop till the end of times with no problem. I have a ton of them already, but I want to add in pieces that will work with a lot of different outfits and also last a long time.

Pinterest is a place where you can pin all kinds of pictures from the internet, and keep them organized in boards. Check out my Pinterest Boards here!

With this Pinspiration Series I am sharing with you guys some of my favorite pins from my Pinterest boards.

Here are some super cute shoes that I pinned on my All About Shoes Board. These are all high heels, which are my favorites. I just think they can make or break an outfit and I just love them! I already have a lot of heels, but I want to add to my collection shoes that can work with many different outfits.

The next few pictures are all about wedges. I absolutely love wearing wedges because they are much more comfortable than heels and they can be dressed up or down depending on the outfit. These four pictures I love because we have the wedge booties that are great for winter and the colder months. Then we also have the neutral summer wedges, this type of shoe can be worn with everything! The red ones are real dressy and are perfect for a party. And the last ones are great to work an outfit around.

I have a love hate relationship with flats. I love them because they are super cute and can complete any outfit, but I hate them because they tend to get ruined pretty quickly, and not to mention smelly. Here are some great flats that I really like and that would go great with any outfit. I have been really into the pointed toe flats a little more. I think they look more classy.
Flats in all the right finishes. love flats, may have to find some pointed toe ones one of these days.

These boots and booties are great inspiration pieces. This is an area that I need to work on a lot more than heels and flats. I love the variety that there is in the pictures. There are the really dressy booties, and then there are the casual, everyday combat boots. Lastly the riding boots are perfect for fall and winter.

You are Beautiful!

Lately I have been thinking a lot about what I am accomplishing right now, and all the things I hope to accomplish in the future. Being in the beauty industry isn't always black and white. I have learned over the years and as I've grown that beauty isn't defined by one thing. Beauty is ever-changing and it evolves, just like we do.

I am one women, a women that loves all the girly stuff. If its frilly and has glitter, sign me up! But that's not the only side of me. That is just one part of who I am. I'm also funny, I love to make people laugh. I'm caring, I would do anything for my family. I try to always be open minded and increase my knowledge everyday.
And as I have many different sides to my personality, Beauty also has many sides.

Beauty is what you want it to be. It isn't defined by what a fashion designer or a well-known magazine say it is. These people that "run" the beauty industry only think that they have defined beauty. But boy are they wrong. They have no idea what a real women even is, how would they know what makes them beautiful.

You define what beauty is, whether it is how you dress or how you wear your hair. Beauty is You!
I sometimes think too much into how my body looks and what I want to change. I know there are improvements to be made, but that doesn't mean that I'm not beautiful right at this moment. You have to have confidence in who are as a person and the rest will soon follow. There are a million things that you can worry and stress about, but in the long run is it really worth it? More often than not, it's not worth it.
Being a confident beautiful women is all in your demeanor. What you portray is what is perceived. If you put positive vibes out there then you will be a positive person. Life shouldn't be spent thinking negatively, because that's not  really living.
Beauty is such a personal thing, it can't be defined by one person or one thing. That's why the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is well known around the world, because it is so true. My tastes in beauty are classic and girly with a little bit of edge. But what is beauty to you? Do you like the pink and girly, or are you into the super edgy and dark? There is also the so many more options that you can chose from, just make it fun. Make it you.

If you want to have blue hair and green eyebrows because that's what's beautiful to you, go ahead! There are no rules that say that one way is the right way. I love it when I see a girl with fashion colors in her hair, that tells me that she is expressing herself that way. And I really enjoy people watching because you can learn so much from street style. Looking at what real people wear and what they think is beautiful is an inspiration to me everyday.
I am all about the super girly fun makeup looks, but I also love the crazy fantasy makeup. It's all about your personal preference. You can do anything you want as far as your personal look and style. I am always trying to expand my style and what looks good on me. It's all about putting yourself out there and letting people see who you really are.

Don't think that because you might fall into a certain stereotype it means you can't be who you are. Don't let stereotypes define who you are. It doesn't matter your race, or ethnicity or even your culture. Be true to yourself because there is only one you. No one can ever take that away from you.

I am so excited to be part of the beauty industry in my own little way. I am trying to expand the content on my blog and make it more real. It won't be just product reviews any more, I want my blog to be mine. I want it to express who I am and the things I love. I am really excited to be taking this beauty blog to the next level. I hope that you guys get what I'm putting out there. It's all about being you, because you are beautiful!
Let me know what you guys think about this topic. I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions. Leave me your thoughts in the comments section. I would really appreciate it if you would share this blog with the world. I want every women to know that she is beautiful just the way she is.

I hope you guys enjoy this post. I really enjoyed writing it and I want everyone to get that beauty is what you make it!

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer Review

I have found my Holy Grail Concealer!!!!!!

But I'm getting ahead of myself, lets start from the top...

Hey everyone! Welcome back to my blog! I am so excited about today's post, because I am going to be talking about the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.
I have been completely obsessed with this concealer for the past few months. And I have not been able to put it down. I have had to repurchase it already 4 times. I love it that much! I even used it as a foundation for a while. It is really an amazing product and I wanted to share it with you!

I picked this concealer up at Sephora and it retails for $29. I am in the shade "Custard." They do have a pretty good color range, and I really like that they have yellow and pink tones. The color Custard has a more yellow undertone to it, which goes very well with my olive (yellow) undertones in my skin.

Honestly the price was the only reason it took me this long to finally commit and buy it. But I have to say that the price is worth the product. I do wish there was a little more product, but that's life.

So moving on, this concealer has been a life changer for me. I am a sufferer of the "designer eye-bags" and it has been a struggle trying to find a product that concealed and brightened my under-eye area.
I have had to deal with the concealers that last only like 4 hours and then they magically disappear off my face. Also the concealers that just sink into my fine lines and this makes the fine lines look like giant wrinkles, come on, I'm only 22! We can't have that.
But like I said, when I tried the Radiant Creamy Concealer, I was in concealer heaven! The concealer is very opaque, but not cakey. We never want cake-face. The concealer still feels light weight, like I have barely any on, which is awesome if I want to layer it on. The color is really similar to my winter skin tone but it's still really lightening under the eyes. Which makes me one happy girl.

The wear on this concealer is amazing! I apply the concealer in the morning when I am getting ready for work, and by the time I'm removing my makeup at 10pm, this concealer is still there! It has lasted me up to 10 hours,

One thing I have noticed is that if I don't properly set the concealer under my eyes, it can crease a tiny bit in my fine line. An easy way to get rid of this crease is to apply a little powder over top and it takes away the crease while not removing any more of the concealer.

At one point I even used this concealer all over my face as a foundation. I think it even works better then other foundations. It is more pigmented so it covers problem areas much better. I also loved that I only needed one layer only on problem spots and that was enough. As opposed to using a regular foundation and then applying a concealer over that.

I would recommend this product to anyone that has darker under-eye circles or if you have acne scar, hyper-pigmentation, or any type of discoloration. This concealer will be amazing! Even if you have pretty good skin, you can use this product only where it is needed and it will blend in perfectly with your skin.
This concealer for me is a 9 out of 10. The only reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because I think for $29 we should get much more product than what is in the little tube.

That's it for today's post, I hope you found this review helpful. Thanks for checking out my blog!
