The Soriam Effect

I have been thinking long and hard about what I want my brand to be. As you know my previous online presence was Beauty by Soriam. But I have decided that I want to include other topics in my blog and YouTube videos. I want to share a lot more with you guys, and I want to post about all the things I am interested in and things that I love. New year, new blog!

The name I have chosen is The Soriam Effect. This is all about me. I will be posting more about lifestyle, travel, events and of course all things beauty. I want my blog and YouTube to be a reflection of who I am and the things that I enjoy doing. 

I hope that you guys that read and share my blog also enjoy this transition into a blog focused on all things lifestyle and beauty. Keep an eye out for much more content and videos!

Travel Makeup Bag for a Beach Vacation

I will be going on a 4 day vacation this weekend, my husband and I are heading to Ocean City, Maryland. Im exited about sun-bathing at the beach all day and hanging out at the boardwalk all night! So I wanted to share with you the makeup that I will be bringing on my trip. 

For these types of trips I always try to bring the bare minimun, because most of the time I don't end up using some of the things I pack. So here the my makeup essentials when going on vacation...

First off, I'm taking with me a moisturizer, I have the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30.

For foundation I will be taking the Revlon Colorstay Makeup in the color 180 Sand Beige.

Next is concealer, I will be using the Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo concealer in the color Medium 22.

The Rimmel Stay Matte Face powder is next on the list, I use the shade 001 Transparent.

           

My favorite eyeshadow primer has been the Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

I only take one eyeshadow palette with me when I travel and that is my Mac Palette. In it I have 19 eyeshadows, I dont use them all, but here are my favorite:


Carbon
Mystery (I use this to fill in my brows)
Cork
Wedge
Satin Taupe 
Copperplate 
Ricepaper
Brule 
Naked Lunch 




Mascara. Right now I have been using 3 different mascaras. I have Benefit's They're Real, Maybelline's The Rocket Volume Express, and L'Oreal's Voluminous False Fiber Lashes.

                    

My favorite black eyeliner is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion.

The blush I'll be using is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Long-Wear Blush in Amused. 

          

Other very important makeup accessories I will be using are 
eye lash curler
Vaseline lip therapy
Q-tips
Mac & Sigma makeup brushes
and Mac's Fix plus.
